In the Hunger Games, I feel that there is a lack of Catholic/ Christian faith becuase Panem is a place where the Capitol rules like an evil god over the people, and the people are killing one another in the Games which just not Christian- like.
In the Hunger Games they lack religion. 24 members are placed in an areana to die. Catholics display love for one another whether you are related or not. We are each bothers and sisters of Christ and the book lacks faith. Each tribute is to go around this areana which is a weapon itself and kill what is suppose to be his/her botherm or sister but since the book gives no detail of a religion they believe in.
I believe that there is a lack of the catholic/christian faith because the people of the capital see what is happening and don't do anything about it, and some of them even enjoy it. It's a little odd that Collins doesn't really go in depth about religion but I guess in a place like this it's the last thing on anyone's mind.
